Martha Elizabeth Catherine Kraus Guy, "Boo", 91, of Lexington Park, MD formerly of Scotland MD passed away on May 7, 2017 in Callaway, MD. Born on July 29, 1925 in Scotland, MD she was the daughter of the late Queenie Victoria Kraus and George Joseph Kraus. Boo was the loving wife of the late Benedict Ishmael Guy who preceded her in death on July 5, 1984 and whom she married on April 22, 1946 in St. Michael's Catholic Church Ridge, MD.

Boo is survived by her children: Mary Lou Schrock (William) of Park Hall, MD, Benedict Ishmael, Jr., of Whitethorn, CA, John Alexander Guy of Lexington Park, MD, Terry Michelle Ortega of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Anthony Guy (Kelly) of Charlestown, WVA, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Palmer, siblings: Mary Catherine Guy, George J. Kraus and Paul and Nettie Parrish.

Boo graduated from High School in 1944 and was a lifelong St. Mary's County, MD resident. She was employed as a bartender, a child care provided and a store clerk, retiring in 1996. One of Boo's greatest joys was raising her children and other children as well.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Service will be held at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Peter Giovanoni officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens, Leonardtown, MD.

Pallbearers will be: Richard Mandeville, Aaron Guy, Jason Ortega and Courtlyn Guy. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Chris Mandeville, Daniel Ortega, Amanda Ortega, Kendall Guy and David Ortega.
