George "Ernie" McNab Jr., 59 of Waldorf, Maryland died suddenly on February 17, 2017 in Cheverly, Maryland. He was the son of George Ernest McNab, Sr. and Patricia Anne Coxen. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Eric W. McNab and wife Brooke; his sister, Sally M. Davis and husband Jerry; his grandson, Owen McNab; and his nephews, Jeremy and Thomas Davis.

Ernie was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served from 1977-1979 and was of the Baptist faith. He worked for many years as a clerk in Waldorf stores. He loved playing golf and cards with his Texas Holdem' Card Club. He enjoyed spending holidays with his family and was known as a happy-go-lucky guy.

Friends received on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with Memorial Funeral Service at 6:30PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646 (officiated by Rev. Dr. Mark Roberson). Interment at a later date at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
