Clyde A. Chick, 91, of Dunkirk, MD passed away January 25, 2017 at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. He was born March 21, 1925 in Washington, DC to Joseph and Sidney (Wheelock) Chick.

Clyde was raised in Washington and was a 1942 graduate of Chamberlin High School. Clyde was inducted into the Army June 16, 1943 serving in Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe before being discharged January 30, 1946. Clyde was a surveyor with the Washington, DC Department of Transportation until retiring in 1978.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael J. Chick on July 13, 2011 and his wife Patricia A. Chick on September 3, 2016. Surviving are his daughter Debra Ann Gray and her husband Gary of The Villages, FL, grandsons Thomas Arnold and his wife Jessica and Steven Arnold and his wife Jennifer, and great grandson Benjamin Arnold.
