Rose Marie Shorter, of Indian Head, MD passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 24, 1938 in Bensville, MD. Rose was predeceased by her daughter, Richelle Eleni Shorter, her parents, Ignatius & Mary Edith Shorter, a sister, Marion Shorter, and brothers John, Arthur, James Charles, and Thomas Shorter.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Dennis) and a brother, Paul (Joyce) Shorter. Rose will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday January 30, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 4590 St. Joseph's Way, Pomfret, Maryland from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Interment at the church cemetery.
