Grace Marie Jackson, 83, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD on December 7, 2016 with her family at her bedside. Grace was born to the late John Daniel Farrell and the late Mamie Hill Farrell in Newburg, MD on May 30, 1933.

Grace began working when she was 14 years old at The Diner in La Plata. She spent over 34 years working at Robertson's Crab House and helped in the New Generation Day Care where she was "Nanny" to many. She loved her family dearly, was a people person, she never met a stranger. Grace enjoyed reading, knitting, crafts, cooking for family and friends, and attending Wednesday's ceramic group at the Northern Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her husband, Lorenzo Walter Jackson, brothers, Milford, Harvey, William "Buck", Joseph "Tina", Howard, and Thomas Farrell; sisters, Genevive Wright, Lucille Asche, Doris Smith; and son-in-law, Mike Hill. Grace is survived by her daughters, Crystal Darlene Hill, Gail Marie Raley (Ronnie), Melissa Faith Tippett (Jim Hicks); brother, John D. Farrell (Shirley); grandchildren, Jason Raley (Kristy), Shawn Hill (Rachel), T.J. Hill (Jessica), Ron Raley (Amanda), Bradley Raley (Megan), Tyler Raley (Lucia), Walker Tippett and Gunnar Tippett; great-grandchildren, Kevin, Lexi, Eric, Gracie, Emilee, Carson, and Carlee Raley, Nicholas "Mikey", Emma, Braelyn, and Alani Hill, Kaitlyn Gardiner, Joseph Beuchert and many other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends for Grace's visitation on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with Prayers at 7 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 29297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20650 with Father Michael Tietjen officiating. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 38888 Dr. Johnson Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.

Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Jason, Shawn, T.J., Ron, Bradley, Tyler, Walker, and Gunnar. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Kevin, Lexi, Eric, Gracie, Emilee, Carson, and Carlee Raley, Nicholas "Mikey", Emma, Braelyn, and Alani Hill, Kaitlyn Gardiner, Joseph Beuchert.
