William "Keech" Edelen Jr., 48, of White Plains, MD passed away on November 20, 2016. Keech was born on September 6, 1968 in Washington, D.C. to William Keech Edelen, Sr. and the late Janette Onetta Kitts Winters.

Keech enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, hunting, shooting, and oystering. He was a member of the MSSA, NRA and Potomac River Anglers. Keech was a Systems Administrator with Harris Corp at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C.

Keech is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Denise Joann Edelen; children, Jessica (Mark) Buchanan, Heather (Brett) Edelen, William Keech Edelen, III and Courtney Edelen; grandchildren, Cole and Reed Buchanan; father, William Keech Edelen, Sr. and Joyce Edelen; sisters, Tiara (D'Ani) Edelen, Tina (Mark) Cannon, Terri (Wayne) Willett; sister-in-law, Debbie Reiter; nieces, Christina and Britney Cannon, Lorin, Sara, Darby and Zoe Willett; great niece, Lauren Cannon; nephews, Dustin (Brittany) Reiter and Cody Reiter.

Family will receive friends for Keech's Life Celebration Visitation on Friday, November, 25, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with Prayers at 7pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4590 St. Josephs Way, Pomfret, MD 20675 with Father Harry Stokes officiating. Interment will follow at the Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up to be used for his children at NRLFCU, make checks payable to the "Keech Edelen Memorial Fund". Arrangements by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home.
