Robert Neal Gemeny Sr., of Chesapeake Beach, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the age of 74. Robert was born on June 16, 1942 in Washington, DC, to Lena J. (Mason) and Ferguson Gemeny, Sr.

He was a school bus driver for Prince Georges County Public Schools for 30 years, retiring in 2011. He loved fishing, crabbing on Breezy Point. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan, was very involved in his community and he loved to spend time with his family.

He was the beloved husband of Pauline D. (Osinski) Gemeny. He was the loving father of Susan Midgett and her husband William and Robert N. "Buddy" Gemeny, Jr. and his wife Kathleen. He was the proud and devoted grandfather of three grandchildren, brother of Carol Scott and her husband David and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Lee Funeral Home.
