Julio Edgar Mendocilla, 89, of Waldorf, MD passed away on Friday, July 28, 2016 at his home. Born on December 15, 1926 in Lima, Peru to the late Temistocles Mendocilla and the late Rosa Tapia Mendocilla.

Julio is survived by his wife, Clara Mendocilla; son, Julio Mendocilla; daughter, Nataly Mendocilla; brother, Cesar Mendocilla; and grandchildren, Leandro, Olivia and Chloe.

Julio was employed by the Peruvian Airforce (Navarrete) as an Architect.

The family will receive friends at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home (211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD) on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, with Prayers starting at 7:00PM; Father Kosty will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home.
