George "Curtis" Bowie III, 38, of Nanjemoy, Maryland died April 19, 2016 at Washington Hospital Center.

Curtis was a mechanic for 10 years, mostly at Joseph Marini Paving in Clinton, MD, and loved restoring old cars with his dad. His life centered around his kids and his mechanical work.

He was the son of George Curtis Bowie, Jr. and Arleen "Kissie" May Adelman Bowie. He was predeceased by his sister, Jacqueline Bowie. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved companion, Stacey Stone; his son, George Curtis Bowie, IV; his daughters, Ashlee Amber and Jamie Jada Bowie; and his sisters, Kathleen Moreland, Joann Bowie, Denise Jenkins and her husband Wes, and Jenifer Bowie.

Friends received on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5-8PM with Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646.
