Diana Lynn Casoni, "Lady Di" of Hollywood, MD passed away at her home on April 13, 2016. Born on March 16, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH. Diana was the loving wife of Gregory Alan Casoni whom she married on January 9, 1982 in Cincinnati, OH.

Diane is survived by her children; Tara Dean (David) of Valrico, FL, Crystal Nelson (Noodles) of Hollywood, MD, Dawn Burch (Bobby) of Hollywood, MD, 10 grandchildren; Deanne (Matt) Sydnor, Lil David Dean, Dylan Casoni-Burch, Grace Nelson, Alan Nelson, Leland Nelson, Patrick Nelson, Bryce Burch, Shane Burch, and Jordan Nelson, siblings; Richard (Darlene) Plummer of Palm Harbor, FL, Julia (Mike) Broderick of Harrison, OH, David (Pam) Plummer of Lawrenceburg, IN, Jeffrey (Donnie)Plummer of Houston, TX, Rebecca (Jay) Wingard of Cincinnati, OH, Melissa (Kevin) Mattox of Elmwood Place, OH and sister-in-law Carin (Bernie) Cook of Union, NJ.

She graduated from Western Hills high school in 1973, and moved from Orlando, FL Naval Training Center to St. Mary's County, MD in 1980. Diana served in the United States Navy from May, 1980 to May, 1984, while serving the United States Navy, she earned the First Good Conduct Award. Her duty stationed included Patuxent River Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. Diana was a housewife and also worked as a Daycare provider from 1985 to 1994. She belonged to the Knights Motorcycle Club, Abate of St. Mary's, Hollywood Vol. Rescue Squad, All American Hog, VFW, American Legion, DAV, and Women of Military.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Hollywood Vol. Fire Department Hall Hollywood, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10:00 Am in the Hollywood Vol. Fire Department Hall with Father Ray Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD.

Pallbearers will be; David Dean, Jr., Noodles Nelson, Bobby Burch, Tommy Ray Chedester, Dale Ridgell and Shane Weasenforth. Honorary pallbearers will be: Deanne Sydnor, Matt Edwards, Lil David Dean, Dylan Casoni-Burch, Grace Nelson, Alan Nelson, Leland Nelson, Patrick Nelson, Bryce Burch, Shane Burch and Jordan Nelson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of St. Mary's and/or the Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad. Arrangements provided by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home.
