Joseph Samuel Interlandi, 82, of Port Tobacco, Maryland, passed away on April 4, 2016 at Charlotte Hall Veteran's Home, Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Born June 14, 1933 in Garfield, New Jersey, he was the son of Charles and Antoinette (Domino) Interlandi.

Joseph is a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Deacon in the Church. He served at St. Peters in Olney, Maryland before moving to Florida where he served at St. John the Baptist until his health started failing. He loved playing Bingo, taking golf cart rides, and also loved music.

Predeceased by his parents, and sister, Lucia Eklund, he is survived by his sister Antoinette Gross, son Joseph Interlandi, Jr. and daughters Gina Lopes, of Port Tobacco, Maryland, and Carrie Grieninger of King George Virginia; grandchildren, Jennifer Hill, Jessica Goin, John Lopes, Nikki Grieninger, Jesse Grieninger and 8 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 28297 Old Village Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Mechanicsville, Maryland, with Bishop Holley officiating. Interment will be at Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623 on April 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements provided by Brinsfield Echols Funeral Home.
