Rudolph "Rudi" Arthur Reichel, 62, of Huntingtown, MD died on February 15, 2016 at his residence in Huntington, MD. He was born in Hamburg, Germany on December 14, 1953. He was the son of the late Rudolf and Marianne Reichel.

Rudi enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and farming. He was a Master Equipment Operator, truck driver and farmer.

In addition to his parents, Rudi was predeceased by his brothers, Herwig Reichel and Joseph Reichel. Rudi is survived by his loving wife, Alice Reichel; sons, Jerry South of Annapolis, MD, Darren South of Mayo MD, Rudi Reichel, of Huntingtown, MD, Carroll Norris of Huntingtown, MD; daughters, Donna Bowles, Ann Lacey, Shirley Brooks, of Hollywood, MD; brother, Karl Reichel; sister, Marianne Reichel; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends for Rudi Memorial Gathering on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 1pm to 3pm with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
