Rose Hinman, 68, of La Plata, MD died on January 23, 2016. Rose is survived by her loving husband, Tom; brothers, Jim, Chuck and Mike; uncle, Charles; and many other relatives and friends.

Rose was a Realtor in Charles County for over 20 years, representing Nyman, Long & Foster, Re/Max100 and Comstock Earnest Century 21 during her career. She later supported her husband in his business, La Plata Home Improvements.

Rose loved horses and, together with Tom, was active in the Maryland horse racing community, especially harness racing for over a decade. She enjoyed the companionship of her house pets and loved them dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1:00PM-4:00PM at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., La Plata, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Alley Cat Allies (alleycat.org), Best Friends Animal Society (bestfriends.org) or Maryland Standardbred Race Fund.
