Marlene Hile Blankley, age 80, passed away on Nov. 23, 2015. She was a long time resident of Indian Head and later retired to Lusby, Md. She was the daughter of Curtis Jacobs Sr. and Virginia Davis Jacobs Brown.

She was predeceased by her brother Curtis Jacobs Jr., and her husband of 43 years, Cloyd G. Blankley. She is survived by her children Deborah Hile, Charles Hile III (Sonia), Gene Hile(Sharon) and Karen Holt(William), nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Dec. 5th, 2015 at 10:00 am at Arehart-Echols Funeral Home in La Plata, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
