Lisa Marie Carter, age 50 of La Plata, MD, died November 6, 2015.

Lisa was an entrepreneur of a cleaning business and owner, with her husband, of a local thrift store and was also a graduate of Thomas Stone High School. She enjoyed going to the race track to watch her youngest son (Jerome) race, hanging out with family, cleaning, and playing cards.

She was the daughter of Edward Stewart, Sr. and Alice Proctor Stewart; wife of Jerome A. Carter, Sr.; mother of April Stewart, Matthew Wade, Chris Stewart, Jerome Carter Jr., Troy Farmer, Otis Farmer, Erica Farmer, and Tasha Johnson; sister of Edward S. Stewart Jr. and wife Myra, Yvonne Stewart and husband Robert, Deloris Wade and husband Carl, Joseph Stewart and wife Janice, and Donald Morgan and wife Valerie; and granddaughter of Ralph and Mary Proctor. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Friends received on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 9AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment at the church cemetery. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service in La Plata, MD.
