Margaret Patricia "Patty" Young, 72, of Bryantown, MD was called home to the Lord on October 25, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Arthur Young and her parents, Charles Worthington and Margaret Corinne Douglas. She is survived by her four children, Ronald Jerome, Sandra Diann, Anthony Arthur and Antivone McArthur Young; and one grandchild, Amani Jade Beachum.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 9:00-10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will be at St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Bryantown, MD. Arrangements provided by Adams Funeral Home.
