Marian Kellam, 87, of Marbury MD, went home to the Lord surrounded by her family on October 17, 2015. Marian was born on August 20, 1928 in Friendly, Md. She was the daughter of Pete and Evelyn Stillson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son Jack T. Kellam, Jr.

Marian grew up in Indian Head, MD and graduated from Lackey High School in 1945. She married in 1947 and went on to become a homemaker and a wonderful cook who loved and raised six children that included triplet daughters born in 1962.

Marian resided in Marbury, MD for 53 years. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering faith in God, her love for her family and friends, her strength and courage, and kind words.

She is survived by daughters, Cynthia Thornburg of Chincoteague Island, VA.; Sharon Phillips and husband Charles of Waldorf, MD.; Leigh Cooksey and husband Robert of Charlotte Hall, MD.; Lisa Snyder of Indian Head, MD.; Lynne Dennison of Cobb Island, MD; brothers Leonard Stillson and Paul Stillson; sisters Catherine Claggett and Nancy Downing; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and many loved nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at Marbury Baptist Church, 4670 Bicknell Road, Marbury, MD, on Friday October 23, 2015. Receiving will begin at 10:00am, service at 11:00am. Repast and fellowship will follow the service in the church hall.
