Nora June Estevez Murphy, 65, of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away October 14, 2015 at Hospice House of Charles County. Born August 2, 1950 in La Plata, MD, she was the daughter of James Estevez and Betty June McNeal Estevez. She was a graduate of La Plata High School.

Nora enjoyed crocheting, bingo and was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed being with all of them.

Predeceased by her parents and sister, Marina Estevez, Nora is survived by her husband James Oscar Murphy, Sr.; sons, Jimmy Murphy (Carmel), Doug Murphy and Robert Murphy (Colleen); brothers, Willie Estevez and Donnie Estevez (Mary Lou); and nine grandchildren, Brent, Brandon, Colby, Kylie, Tess, George and Gracie Murphy and Julia and Alex Dimichele.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 5:00 – 700p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00p.m. Pastor Dean Wolfe will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Rd., Waldorf, MD 20603.
