Myron Herbert Rowe, born July 1, 1921 passed away on September 3, 2015. He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Margaret Rowe. They were married on November 26, 1944 and his children are James Wright, George Rowe, Gayle Jones, Thomas Rowe and Barbara Judge. He has 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Myron was a life member of the VFW and American Legion. Myron served in the Navy during World War II from 1939 to 1945 in the South Pacific and honorable discharged. Myron was a 64 year member of the Masonic Lodge of Guilford Maine. Myron was one of the founders of the Waldorf Rescue Squad and served as a fireman in the Waldorf Fire Department. He was a coach and umpired for little league.

A visitation will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm with the service to begin at 4pm. Burial to take place at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Hwy., Cheltenham, Maryland on Friday September 11, 2015 at 11 am. Arrangements provided by Huntt Funeral Home.
