Juan Enrique Barrera, age 58 of Bryans Road, MD, died on April 27, 2015 in Clinton, MD.

Juan was an equipment operator for 30 years at Aggregate Industries. He was very faithful with his church and community. He was a Eucharistic Minister, choir member, RCIA Catechist, and a marriage encounter minister. He also held prayer groups in his home. His life consisted of his work, his family, his community, and his church.

He is the son of the late Samuel Rojas and the late Evangelina Barrera. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elsa Ramos Barrera; his sons, Samuel Barrera and Oscar Barrera and wife Lisa; his daughter, Claudia Barrera and husband Oscar; his brothers, Rodolfo Escalante and Jorge Rojas; his sisters, Celia Barrera, Carmen Escalante, Gloria Escalante, and Maribelle Barrera; and his grandchildren, Valentina, Anthony, Austin, and Alvin.

Friends received on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 5-8PM with a Prayer Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. An additional visitation will be on Monday, May 4, 2015 from 10AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601.
