Geraldine "Gerri" Louise Allen, 73 of Waldorf, MD, died on March 3, 2015 at the Genesis La Plata Center.

Gerri was a homemaker and a member of the Life Stream Church of the Nazarene in Waldorf, MD. She loved reading romance novels and watching soap operas and The Waltons. She also loved cooking and being a homemaker, especially at Christmas time with her family.

She is the daughter of the late Robert Nottingham and the late Dollie Dimple Stone Nottingham. She is also predeceased by her husband, Steve Edward Allen and her daughter, Diane Renee Allen. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Allen and her beloved companion Douglas William Zimmerman; her brother, Randall Nottingham and his wife Dana; and her grandchildren, Steve Allen Leonard, Robert Hunter, and Rhea Leonard.

Friends received on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 10:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:30PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
