Charles Lee "Hog" Branum, 79, of Indian Head, MD died on January 8, 2015 at the Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

Hog was a retired Chief Warrant Officer 2 with the U. S. Army and was a member of VFW Post #10081 in La Plata. Following his service with the Army, he spent his life farming. He was also a member of the N.R.A. and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a strong family man and was loved by all.

He is the son of the late Lee Belva Branum and the late Eva Lee Guynes Branum. He was also predeceased by his wife, Agnes Arlene Branum. He is survived by his sons, Robert O. Branum and Richard L. Branum and his wife Theresa and his daughters, Veronica L. Dillon and Jessica Teets. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Friends were received on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6-8PM with a Memorial Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel in La Plata, MD. Interment at Holly Hills Memorial Cemetery in Granbury, TX. Memorial contributions are asked to the Hospice of Charles County, 2505 Davis Road, Waldorf, MD. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
