Evelyn Dorothy Quijada, 83, of Waldorf, MD died on January 10, 2015 at the Waldorf Genesis Center.

Evelyn was a Corporal in the U. S. Air Force, having served from 1951-1953. She was also an Administrative Assistant for 40 plus years where she worked for the C.I.A., MD Independent Newspaper, and finishing with General Electric. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD and was a former 4-H Leader. She was a founding member of the Smallwood Village Aquatic Club Swim Team. She will always be known as a loving wife and mother whose life revolved around her family.

She is the daughter of the late Gilbert Vincent Klein and the late Edith Marian Fuller Klein. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rodolfo Quijada; her son, Christopher Quijada and his wife Laurie; her daughters, Stacie Burch and her husband Mark and Pamela Pascua and her husband Jes; her brother, Jerry Klein; her grandchildren, Matthew Burch and his wife Lauren, Nicholas Burch, Christopher Quijada, Amanda Quijdada, Stephen Quijada, Tess Pascua, and Brandon Pascua; and her great grandson, James.

Friends received on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 5-8PM with a Wake Service at 7PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 17, 2015 beginning at 10AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 3320 St. Peter's Drive, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment at a later date at the MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
