Frances Darlene Morrison of Mechanicsville, MD died at her home on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. She was 65 years old.

Born on November 6, 1949 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of Charles R. Stevens and the late Betty Lou Taylor Stevens. She has lived in Southern Maryland for the past 39 years, coming from Washington, DC.

Darlene was a homemaker who had a passion for her family - she was devoted to them. She loved cooking (especially baking), gardening and canning, flowers, and reading books. She especially enjoyed her pets - her animals were all very dear to her (she was an animal advocate that supported the U.S. Humane Society for many years). Her passing will leave a great void in our family.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, Michael Jon Morrison; her sons John E. and his wife Jackie Ulrich and Michael R. Ulrich; her grandchildren Morgan and Brittany Ulrich; her great grandchildren Brandon and Melanie; her sisters Tonie and her husband Rick Truitt, Brenda and her husband Bob Evans; her nephew Steven D. Evans; her nieces Candice L. Cockrell and Tamson M. Evans; great nephew Devon A. Custer; her great niece Jessica M. Cockrell;

Service and interment will be at a later date and time at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623. Arrangements are by Raymond Funeral Service, P.A.
