Richard E. Cecil, III, 32, of Mechanicsville, MD died on December 16, 2014 in Mechanicsville, MD. He was born on June 8, 1982 in Norfolk, VA to Rhonda Cecil and the late Richard E. Cecil, Jr.

He is survived by his children Eric and Kiera, brothers Danny and Timmy Cecil, grandparents Richard and Nancy Cecil, Butch and Sandy Martin, great grandmother Nana, many other family members and longtime girlfriend Sheena Meredith.

Ricky was a steamfitter for Local 602. He loved watching football, cooking especially grilling, fishing, being a steamfitter and being with his family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM and 9 to 9:30 Am at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Church, La Plata, MD at 10 AM. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
