RUGBY

Southern Maryland Rugby welcomes all serious High School Student-Athletes interested in learning to play rugby. Any student, 19 and under, is eligible to participate. No rugby playing experience is necessary. Most High School players have had no experience prior to joining. Rugby uses a variety of skills, so there is a position for most sizes. Our coaches (US National Certified with an average of 20 years experience) will prepare all players for competition, safety and the sportsmanship of the game. Maryland currently has 23 High School (U-19) teams. The Potomac Rugby Union High School Championships are scheduled for April 20/21, 2002.
