St. Mary's County Library provides 24/7 from the home or office. From the library's web page users can access:
On-line databases such as Business Source Elite, Regional Business news and Newspaper Source.
Download electronic Books in print or audio versions to personal computers or portable listening devises.
Place holds and borrow materials from libraries across the state of Maryland.
Ask reference questions which will be answered by a reference librarian through a chat session via www.askusnow.info.
At the three library branches, visitors will find:
Trained professional staff who will assist in locating materials and information to meet both business and education needs.
Computers, providing access to the Internet and productivity software.
Meeting rooms that may be booked by non-profit organizations, clubs, government agencies and education providers.
Additionally all branches have WiFi networks and wireless laptops. The Lexington Park library has a computer lab with 10 workstations.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 9-8; Friday 11-5; Saturday 9-5; Sunday 1-5 at the Lexington Park Library Only.
