St. Andrew's Parish was created by the Maryland Provincial Assembly in 1744. In 1766 the vestry decided to build a church which was completed in 1776. The church stands today essentially unchanged.
St. Andrew's is a very active Episcopal community with around 110 families. Children are welcome at all services or they may stay in the nursery with our free child care providers. Services are at 8 AM and 10:30 AM Sundays with Sunday School beginning at 9:15 AM. During the summer of 2007 from June 24 through Aug. 26 there will be ONE worship service at 9:00 am. Nursery services will still be provided but there will be no Sunday School. For current information, please visit our website at www.standrewssomd.org.
