Search and Rescue Dogs of Maryland, Inc. (SARDOM) is an all-volunteer, non-profit search and rescue organization which utilizes air scenting dogs to assist law enforcement agencies, as well as other official agencies to search for lost subjects.  Air scenting dogs are used not only for wilderness searches, but for disaster work (Any natural disaster involving subjects trapped under rubble-such as the Oklahoma City bombing), drownings (Rivers, creeks, and lakes), downed aircraft searches and evidence searches (Concealed articles or human evidence in a criminal context.
